La Tour D’Argent – Day 1 – Sagacious Palate

Here’s day 1 of my sublime gastronomic week starting with a reservation at La Tour D’Argent.

Arriving at La Tour D’Argent was as magical as the evening I was hoping to experience. As we entered the well appointed waiting area one could not resist the need to request a slight pinch to make sure it was actually happening, as the decor was as regale and exquisite as any environment fit for those who are exposed to and gravitate to opulence. As we were shown to our table the view of Notre Dame and the Seine was absolutely breathtaking and then the real magic began as the sun was setting and the bubbly flowed…….
