The Jefferson, Washington DC

Returning to the elegant and sophisticated Jefferson Hotel was absolutely amazing, as all the familiar and warm details remained and I once again experienced Superior Luxury at its best in my DC “Parisian” home away from home.

With opulence in the air, and a refined and polished staff at the ready, you best come prepared to be indulged as everything has its appointed level of grandeur. Not only was every aspect of the hotel exceptional, but the staff’s attention to detail, their presence when needed and the excellent and exceptional graciousness, and professionalism of the general manager, Mr. David Bueno, made for a wonderful stay at this exquisite oasis.

Being welcomed by familiar and new faces created an inviting atmosphere that remained throughout my stay. With breathtaking cherry blossoms filling the entrance, it immediately took me back to those beautiful walks around the Tidal Basin, as it is stunning during Cherry Blossom season. Unfortunately for me, coming from Miami, the weather was a bit cold, so staying in and enjoying the comforts The Jefferson so flawlessly offers, was by far the right thing to do – – and that’s exactly what I did.

I sincerely appreciate Henok’s assistance and the amazing receptionists who assisted with a effortless and quick check in. William, the kindness and courtesy shown is much appreciated, as well as your concierge skills which were impeccable.

Stepping back into what has become the ultimate experience in refined luxury, I welcomed the amazing and breathtaking Executive Suite with open arms. This elegant 760 sq.ft. suite with a king-size bed was very relaxing. The level of quietness was by far one of the best surprises as I’ve had the misfortune to experience the opposite.

The timing for my return was ideal as it was Easter and yes, spring was in the air.

If you enjoy the art of high-end service and refinement in all manifestations, I invite you to spend time at The Jefferson and allow yourself to experience wonderful moments of what should be the standard in refined hospitality. One must not forego the opportunity to dine in The Greenhouse as Executive Chef Fabio Salvatore was definitely on his game as he delighted my palate with exceptional cuisine during Easter Brunch and throughout the stay.

I can’t express the sheer joy and personal pleasure I received when I’m back at this beautiful, quiet and welcoming space.  The entire team has and have always been exceptional and I’m forever grateful for the leadership and vision of Mr. Bueno. He continues to deliver an experience worthy of the accolades The Jefferson continues to receive.

Once again, my highest praise to the entire staff!!!  Having worked in hospitality I certainly appreciate the welcoming and caring energy each of you so professionally and gracefully extended, as it made all the difference and created the perfect atmosphere for such an exquisite and lovely oasis.

Although short, the four nights spent enjoying the comforts that comes with this level of luxury was the perfect amount of time before heading off to New York.

Good morning and goodbye. Leaving for New York.
