The first dinner at the W was at WAVE. We had the pleasure of having Chef Esko and Chef Herrera prepare amazing meals that featured tasty Mediterranean cuisine and some extras that Chef Esko knew I could not live without. The beauty of being at the W and knowing Chef Esko revealed itself over the course of several dinners – – we were at home as the hospitality, generosity and graciousness never disappeared. The other wonderful advantage was being able to eat forever and roll to the elevator in seconds to an amazing view, and exceptional accommodations. This experience was EXCEPTIONAL!!!! The wine pairings really allowed for the flavors and textures to create a seamless gastronomic adventure. From the much needed foie gras to the mouthwatering Oxtail Lasagna and Duck Royal, the time spent consuming these well prepared and extremely tasty dishes was priceless. I promised Chef Esko that a visit to Barcelona was in order and I’m forever grateful we followed through and he and Chef Herrera fed us like kings!!!!
