OpenTable Review: This was my second dining experience at Angle and I must say the entire team gave their all. We’d had an incredible server during our last visit but, upon returning we were informed that he no longer worked at Angle. We were assured that we’d be taken care of and we were – – Anna and Ralph were extremely professional and attentive to our every need. Don, the F & B manager’s professionalism and presence in dealing with a questionable bottle of wine was superb. And Chef Matthew McGhee – – the food was simply outstanding.
The Grand Opening – – Angle at EAU

After receiving the above invite from Chef McGhee we headed to Palm Beach to support him and his team for the grand opening of Angle. With the “Well Healed” Palm Beach crowd flooding the immaculate property and Chef Matthew McGhee on his game, we partook in a variety of dishes that delighted the palate and awakened the senses. One of my favorite hors d’oeuvres of the evening was the Foie Gras encased by Cotton Candy. As the evening festivities got on the way and the bubbly flowed, we sat out to find the Mad Hatter, Alice and all sorts of characters one might find when venturing out into wonderland. I must admit my search turned to devouring the additional passed hors d’oeuvres – – the amazing pumpkin soup, caviar tacos and wagyu beef prepared us for more amazing treats from Chef McGhee and his team.

The team that made the return so worthwhile.

In need of a refill, I followed Don outside to the Champagne station. Found the Mad Hatter and now the hunt for Alice is almost on – – bubbly first.

As luck would have it, a pirate just happen to be on our way to the infamous rabbit-hole where nearby tracks lead us to………

Success – – Found Alice and now dessert!!!!!!

We were graciously led to the sweet treats outside and a little entertainment before heading down the rabbit-hole.

After several stops at every dessert station we finally made our way out and to our guide. Down the rabbit-hole (elevator) we went.

THE RABBIT-HOLE!!!!!!!!

We finally made it to the “rabbit-hole” where one lucky attendee’s stamped card will be drawn for a return visit to the lovely EAU Spa and dinner at Angle — fingers crossed.
All in all we had a great stay at EAU and enjoyed celebrating the Grand Opening of Angle with Chef McGhee. This party atmosphere did not distract Chef McGhee from his passion as the bite size dishes made their way to us but, if you truly want to experience first-hand what’s behind the madness that tastes so unbelievably good – – make a reservation and let Chef McGhee know that I sent you.
Now that season is in, I’m looking forward to returning to Angle as Chef McGhee has promised to let me in the kitchen to sample new cuisine and to fill Sagacious Palate with more visual temptations.
And now we relax………..

Not only do you have the opportunity to truly experience great cuisine you also have the chance to experience the incredible EAU Spa – – ideal for working off the calories or just basking in the lap of luxury.
