When in need of reliable recommendations, using sources of the same caliber is of most importance.  Thank you Lucia at Caesar Augustus for the recommendation for lunch at Punta Tragara.

With a picture perfect view of Faraglioni, incredible weather, exceptional food and service I truly felt as if I’d been transported to hmmmmm, how shall I put this – – the center of the universe and yes the revolutions were around me.  As we settled into restorante Monzú, and the  Donnafugata began to flow, what seemed to be several minutes slowly turned into two hours of sheer delight.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We finished off the Donnafugata, stared at Faraglioni for one last time and found our way back to Capri center.  This lunch was perfect in every way.  From the moment we arrived and until the last sip, we only needed to sit back, relax and allow the well appointed staff to create an unforgettable moment in time – – success.

My return to Capri will definitely include spending more time at Punta Tragara as I do wish to experience the beauty of this hotel as a guest and not have to travel far once I’ve participated in the all important art of “Decadent Dining.”
