Yes, this is Baccarat’s Cristal Room, where one has the opportunity to be totally surrounded by and immersed in the rare and refined that is Baccarat. My fascination for this luxury item knows no bounds. It was the initial stay at Baccarat New York that set me on this journey of complete and total loyalty to the craftsmanship, commitment to excellence and the utter brilliance and beauty of the remarkable offerings of this atelier crystal producer. That deep desire to know and experience Baccarat led me to Musée Baccarat, Paris where I discovered the Cristal room – – outstanding gastronomy and elegant crystal – – Paradise found, again!!!!
We entered the Cristal Room and were elegantly escorted through the main dining room were beautiful chandeliers adored the ceiling as if thousands of twinkling stars floated above your head in magical clusters of brilliance. Passing table after table we reach what appeared to be the entrance to a grand dining hall sealed with secrecy and the kind of privacy one acquires by reigning over subjects – – the private dining room was all ours. Shocked and amazed, but totally willing to be seated, we graciously planted ourselves in our seats. As the mystical and mysterious Zénith Noir Chandelier (Black crystal) with all its weight and power floated over us, it felt as if the night sky was hanging inches away with glimmering twilight meticulously disbursed throughout and all we had to do was to sit back, relax and let Chef Mathieu Mécheri wow us for the night.
Tonight we dined with beautiful crystal all around – – tomorrow up close and personal with the rare and refined that is Baccarat.

What an incredible evening as this was the first of many magnificent dinners in lovely Paris. Having the opportunity to experience the private dining room in the Cristal Room was a major surprise and one that we cherished as it allowed for total enchantment of the mystical ambience of the Cristal Room and the delicious cuisine of Chef Mathieu Mécheri.
