Another delightful dinner out last evening at The University Club – – Veal Osso Bucco paired with 2009 Artemis.  It’s been awhile since I’ve had Artemis and was somewhat concerned if the 2009 would be too powerful for the Osso Bucco, saffron risotto and broccolini.  To my surprise, it was a perfect match. Elegant tannins, sweet seductive fruit and a finish that lingered long enough for me to appreciate the harmony and prepare for the next bite.  If you’re looking for a elegant California pairing with Osso Bucco, try the 2009 Artemis.  It was delicious.
