Marziano Abbona  – – one of my new favorite producers in Italy.  Since discovering this producer several months ago and having enjoyed everything coming from this amazing estate, I’m thrilled to know I can still purchase an incredible bottle of wine at an incredible price – – and so should you.  From the elegant Cerano (Vignoier) to the robust Pressenda Barolo my return to these complex and palate pleasing wines never disappoints me.  The Rinaldi Barbera d’ Alba has become my house red as it pairs perfectly with an array of robust and mild meats.   This past weekend proved this wine will be the ideal go to red once the colder temps settle in for a few months.   At $20 a bottle (MacArthur Beverages SKU#53140) you will not find a more balance and robust red with beautiful structure, balance  and well integrated  fruit and tannins.  Drink more Barbera!!!!
